The Directorate General of Maritime Affairs
The Directorate General of Maritime Affairs is a Guatemala Maritime Administration Office, constantly innovating and optimizing certification and registration processes, making them more automated and simple.
The Maritime Administration of Guatemala is under the Government of the Republic of Guatemala, a member state of the International Maritime Organization since 1983 and one of a IMO Whitelisted Country .
The administration is responsible for formulating and implementing national maritime policies and legislation to ensure maritime safety, maritime education, ship certification and registration, as well as supporting compliance with international maritime conventions.
Ship Certificate Verification

The ship registration certificate issued by Guatemala Maritime Administration, can be verified within 48 hours from the date of issuance., You may enter the Ship IMO Number or Official Number indicated on the registered certificate to verify its authenticity.
In case the Certificate has not been verified by the online system , please contact with Director General of Maritime Affairs, Government of Guatemala, Department of Maritime Administration (DGAM Office) through:

This is Online Seafarers Certificate Verification Platform for verification of crew documents issued by Government of Guatemala ,
certificate issued by Guatemala Maritime Administration , can be verified within 48 hours from the date of issuance.
You may enter the Document Number indicated on the seafarers certificate to verify its authenticity.
